WELCOME
My name is Cheryl Scott-Berkowitz and I am the PROUD owner of Brow and Skin Studio in the Town Center area of Virginia Beach, Virginia. I decided to take a leap of faith and give running my own small business a shot (with lots of encouragement and even more help from a dear friend). I am the momma of a very active 4 year old little girl who is my reason for everything.
I am a Permanent Makeup Artist and Master Aesthetician. I attended The PMU School of Virginia Beach for my permanent makeup License and The Chrysm Institute of Esthetics for both my Professional and Masters License. My love for PMU started when I had the treatment done myself and felt the difference in my confidence and the amount of time it took me to get ready for the day. It was instant satisfaction.
My love for skincare started a little later on in life when I realized that I did not take care of my skin in my younger years and I did not understand the importance of regular facials and great skincare products. Now that I am educated in these subjects, I want nothing more than to help others with their needs.
Permanent Makeup

Microblading
A tattooing technique in which a small hand held tool is used to implant pigment in to the dermis. Each stroke is meant to enhance and fill in the brows with a hair like appearance.

Powder Brows
Powder brows is a cosmetic technique using a device similar to a tattoo gun. It is meant to give the brows a filled in (as a brow pencil would) powder like appearance.

Combination Brows
Combo Brows is a technique using both a hand held device and machine. Gives the appearance of hair strokes at the front of the brow and filled in appearance to the rest of the brow.
Facial Services

Dermaplane Facial
Treatment using a special handheld tool to remove vellus hair, better known as peach fuzz. While removing the hair we are also removing the top layer of dead skin. This facial treatment helps bring your skin back to life with zero downtime.

Hydro-facial
A facial treatment using a machine to deliver exfoliation, extraction, and hydration to the skin. This machine uses a microdermabrasion tip to exfoliate dead skin and then a suction tip to remove dirt and debris from the pores. Treatment ends with a cryotherapy handpeice, leaving the skin with a healthy GLOW.

Chemical Peels
This service is used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. The solution applied to the skin is tailored to treat different skin issues. This process can improve the appearance of the fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and blemishes.

Peptide Firming Mask

Micro Peel
This service includes a dermaplane facial and a secondary form of exfoliation. This is the perfect treatment when you are getting ready for an event.

Waxing and Tinting
Brow waxing and tinting is the removal and shaping of unwanted brow hair. Tinting the brows gives it a filled in appearance.
